Sailing San Diego is for pleasure sailors of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced, with or without boats. Our intention is to get people involved in sailing either as groups sharing the cost for chartered boats or to help boat owners find crew. Welcome to the Sailing Junkies! This group has been reborn and is only for private boat owners, sail or power, we don't discriminate here. Sailing Junkies will serve as a forum for San Diego's boat owners to make new boating friends, stay connected with old ones, share boating knowledge and plan sailing events. Topics are diverse covering such topics as Metal Fatigue, Sail Trim, Heavy Weather, Cooking on Board, Sewing, Splicing, Folk Lore, Medical emergencies, radio, GPS, and more. Seminars are held in the Chula Vista Marina's boater's lounge, on the waterfront, next door to the Galley Restaurant.
